As you begin your holiday season, I would like to remind you that one of the greatest gifts you can give the world and one another is the presence of your Presence. It is the Light of the Spirit within you that shines brightly during this holiday season of giving and receiving. It is the Light of hope, inspiration, peace, joy, and love that you can find within and share with the world.

This holiday season, slow down. Rather than furiously shopping for presents, take time in silence to meditate on the people in your life and ask for guidance in giving gifts with meaning. Rather than rushing to every social event, slow down and allow your heart to dictate which are truly meaningful to you. Rather than writing your cards with haste, make them an act of love. And each and every day of this month of magic and miracles, give thanks and be in gratitude for the gift of your “Light”… of your “Presence.”

On Christmas Day, may we celebrate the giving and receiving of the greatest gift of all, the gift of unremarkable Love.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, Holy Beings began being born as Earth Children. They were given twelve special gifts by a Wise One when they chose to be born to Earth. It was whispered into their Souls that they might follow their agreed-upon path. Each of us was given these gifts and heard the whisperings in our hearts. This season, rediscover and reclaim your Twelve Gifts.

The first gift is strength.
May you remember to call upon it whenever you need it.

The second gift is beauty.
If you look for it, it will always be there.

The third gift is courage.
May you speak and act with confidence and use courage to follow your own path.

The fourth gift is compassion.
May you be gentle with yourself and others. May you forgive those who hurt you and yourself when you make mistakes.

The fifth gift is hope.
Through each passage and season, may you trust the goodness of life.

The sixth gift is joy.
May it keep your heart open and filled with light.

The seventh gift is talent.
May you discover your own special abilities and contribute them toward a better world.

The eighth gift is imagination.
May it nourish your visions and dreams.

The ninth gift is reverence.
May you appreciate the wonder that you are and the miracle of all creation.

The tenth gift is wisdom.
Guiding your way, wisdom will lead you through knowledge to understanding. May you hear its soft voice.

The eleventh gift is love.
It will grow each time you give it away.

The twelfth gift is faith.
May you always believe.

Each of us will remember our true divine nature and the role we came to play. We will remember and re-learn to use these gifts, to use them wisely, and share them with others. As that happens, The Next Miracle unfolds on the kingdom of Earth and throughout the Universe.
